In this role, he leverages his extensive background in social work, trauma-informed care, and strategic leadership, along with his personal experiences of suffering and blessing, to deepen community impact.

Marcia has twenty years of experience as a classroom, resource, and special program teacher, focusing on students with complex needs. She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree specializing in autism and youth mental health. As a Metis woman and a parent of a child with multiple disabilities, Marcia brings a personal understanding of the importance of community support.

She is also a proven advocate who has successfully worked with the Saskatchewan government to secure medical funding for children. Marcia enjoys being part of a team and is excited to use her knowledge and experience to support the work of this organization.

Madam Margaret is a seasoned health professional with extensive knowledge in pharmacy. She operates a community-focused pharmacy which addresses local healthcare needs while continuing to provide advisory services and support to those around her.

Spiritual Support & Community Health:Margaret draws on her more than 40 years of combined nursing and pharmacy experience to deliver holistic care. She integrates professional medical expertise with compassionate spiritual guidance to support the well-being of vulnerable populations.

Angel is an experienced operations and property management professional, founder of NestWise Strategies, and current manager of a nonprofit housing portfolio in British Columbia, bringing a governance-focused perspective rooted in organizational development and strategic oversight.

She specializes in building sustainable structures through policy development, financial oversight, and risk management, combining practical operational insight with a values-based approach to support board-level decision making and accountability.

Compliance & Governance Operations:Angel Graitson leads the organization’s operational sustainability, focusing on policy development, risk management, and the strategic oversight of nonprofit housing portfolios.

Ambassador Konateh is a Liberian Deaf advocate with more than 15 years of experience championing inclusion, accessibility, and sign language rights across Africa, particularly in Ghana, Cape Verde, and Liberia. Through his leadership and extensive outreach programs, he has empowered countless individuals by improving access to education and equal opportunities, earning wide recognition for his dedication to the Deaf community.

Alongside his wife, Wubu Hendricks, a specialist in Deaf education, he co-leads the Wubu Foundation for Deaf Children Development International, an organization dedicated to providing essential resources and support services which help Deaf children thrive. Senior Program Director: In charge of service delivery, Sametta translates the ministry’s mission into actionable community support. Utilizing her BSW and MSW, she leads the development and implementation of practical strategies for family guidance, emotional well-being, and child development, ensuring frontline services are both impactful and educationally sound.

Charlton is an unwavering social worker holding a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), whose career is defined by a lifelong pledge to humanitarian service and the core mission of HelpingMinistries. His leadership experience includes serving as the former Secretary General for the National Association of Social Workers of Liberia, alongside his work as a frontline health promoter for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) during the Ebola epidemic.

Motivated by his lived experience as a displaced person, Charlton specializes in connecting underserved populations to life-saving services and helping families navigate complex social systems. His persistent efforts ensure that high-quality support remains accessible to all, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.

Director of Community Outreach: Drawing on his BSW and his prestigious background as the former Secretary General for the National Association of Social Workers of Liberia, Charlton bridges the gap between the ministry and the populations it serves. He manages the day-to-day work of connecting underserved families to services, overseeing information flow and equitable access to resources.

Devon developed a broad set of skills from the experience of growing up in a loving home contrasted with tragedy and a need to improvise ways to deal with adversity as well as build perseverance.

With knowledge ranging from philosophy to engineering, he is dedicated to figuring out balanced solutions for building strong families and communities which stand the test of time while respecting how messy life can be.

Some of his hobbies and interests include writing music and sci-fi/fantasy stories, electronics design, physics, psychology as well as connecting all these things in a meaningful way. Devon fulfills a dual strategic role, maintaining the organization’s operational backbone through technical and administrative support. He supports the structures of programs and critical administrative support. Uniquely, Devon also oversees Music and Entertainment initiatives, integrating creative engagement into the ministry’s outreach to help create awareness and community spirit.

Tanya is an innovative creative professional who utilizes her expertise in media and marketing to anchor the long-term sustainability of the organization.

Her professional portfolio reflects a deep commitment to high-impact design and strategic communication, which she applies to drive the ministry’s fundraising and administrative success. By blending aesthetic vision with fiscal responsibility, Tanya ensures that the ministry’s narrative is shared effectively with donors and partners, securing the future of its community-focused programs.
